Resources for parents and advisers

As a parent or careers adviser, it is important to have access to relevant and up-to-date resources to use in guiding your students through their options. To start with, most of the information on this website is available in neat and redesigned A4 format for you to print out by clicking the “print” icon at the top of each page. There are also a number of additional resources which you can use in the classroom and individually with your students:

Girls at desk

UCAS:

Almost everything that you need relating to applications can be found on UCAS. There is a very useful and extensive advisers section which contains lots of resources and information including lesson plans, tool kits, an advisers magazine and a great adviser guide. Visit the website to find out more.

Student Finance England:

SFE have created a number of resources to help students understand the financial aspects of university and to guide them through the application process. Here are a sample of the most important resources, for more, please visit SFE’s . Check out our Finance Facts page too for more information about student finance, including a great video by Money Saving Expert founder Martin Lewis.
